About the Webmistress

The webmistress who created the FOP is Vessalyn Ohmsford, who is the long lost sister of Bek and Grianne Ohmsford. She is a character who has long wavy brown hair, piercing blue eyes and can wield a sword just as well as a man. Not believing? Good for you! The webmistress's real name is Angelina and is a HUGE fan that lives somewhere in the U.S. Her father introduced her to The Sword of Shannara and she became hooked. She's now currently working on this site and waiting (not very patiently) for the new and last book of The High Druid of Shannara series, Straken, to come out. She's just a mormal person, just like you! Unless you are Terry Brooks himself or Terry's wife, Judine, or one of Terry's children. Or you could be a person who will star in a Shannara movie that will come out sometime and you just don't know it yet. Whoever you are, please enjoy the site and come back sometime!

About the Site

Okay, so Vessalyn created this site. Why on Earth would she want to cross her favorite books with the Internet? Well, because she really liked the books and wanted to have a site that actually was updated enough to get information out of. She was hesitant at first, because she didn't want to mix her favorite author and books with the Internet world but decided that it would be easier to make a website rather than publish a book on it.  So, enjoy the site and if you have any questions, comments, suggestions or would just like to contact Vessalyn, go to the address below:
